athlete's foot

Athlete’s Foot (tinea pedis) is a widespread disease. About 15% of the UK population1 have it at any one time, and for most sufferers, it’s a long-term problem. In a recent study of 900 sufferers in the UK, France and Germany, 65% said they had more than four incidences a year, and 66% said that they’d been periodic sufferers for four years or more, 23% have even suffered for more than 10 years.2

Athlete’s Foot can be painful and embarrassing, and if left untreated, can lead to more serious problems, such as onychomycosis (ringworm of the nails) and bacterial infection, particularly among immuno-suppressed groups.
