application

Even if your patient only exhibits the symptoms of Athlete’s Foot on one foot, evidence suggests that there’s an 80% chance1 that the other foot is infected too. So both feet need to be treated.

  • Gently apply the solution with fingers, first between the toes, under and over all toes.
  • Then apply it over the sole and sides of the foot.  You should only make one application, spread evenly and avoid massaging it into the skin.
  • Treat the other foot in the same way, even if the skin looks healthy.
  • Use all the contents of the tube.
  • Allow two minutes for the film to form before putting on socks and shoes.
  • Do not apply a second time
  • Wash your hands with warm soapy water after the application

Within 30 minutes, the active ingredient will begin killing the fungus and will start alleviating any itching or burning. It will keep on working for up to two weeks – more than enough time to kill all the fungi.
For best results, Lamisil Once® should be applied immediately after a shower or bath, once the patient has carefully dried their feet.  It's best not to wash the feet again for 24 hours.

Please note that Lamisil Once® should not be prescribed to pregnant or breast-feeding women, or for the treatment of the ‘mocassin’ variant of Athlete’s Foot., which requires a prescriptionoral anti-fungal agent.  Nor should not be used for onychomycosis, which again requires a prescribed product.
